Request serial number

Understanding your software's registration

How serial numbers  work

There are no "crippled" or demo versions of Summit software. However, until a registration number is entered into the applications, the programs will allow no more than 20 people in the database, even though all other functions are intact. A valid registration number, linked to your organization's name, removes this restriction on the software.
In order to prevent unauthorized installation of the software, a serial number may only be used within 30 days of the time it is generated. However, once an installation on a given computer is registered, that computer remains registered indefinitely, even after later installations and updates.
A new number should be required only if the software is being installed on a new computer or if the registry of the computer has become corrupted.

How to get an updated number

There are several convenient ways to get a number when it is needed.

After filling out the request form, you should receive your new number by the close of the business day, and no later than the following morning.

Eventek is unable to provide the registration numbers in response to email requests any sooner than you will receive them by using the methods above. However, we are happy to be of any assistance we can in emergencies or if you do not receive a number in a timely fashion. Please contact us through the support form, an email message, or by phone at (859) 420-9330.

Be prepared

Software security is an unfortunate necessity. You can avoid being inconvenienced by remembering a few things.
