Getting Started - Setting up Summit to Generate E-Mail Correspondence as PDF

Applies To: Summit Event Manager - Pro v.9.23 or higher with the PDF E-mail Overlay (Custom Update)

Step 1
Purchase the PDF E-mail Overlay Custom Update for Summit Event Manager - Pro v.9.23 or higher.

It will be posted to you on CD with full installation instructions

Step 2
 

Install the Win2PDF software. This software is used to actually create the PDF Files.

The Win2PDF installation program will be included on the CD sent with the purchase of the PDF E-mail Overlay or you can download the software from our website.

The evaluation version is compatible with Summit Event Manager - Pro. However it will create a second page to all your PDF documents advertising Win2PDF. To eliminate this you must purchase a license. http://www.daneprairie.com/purchase/purchase.htm

Installation Notes: Accept all default settings and do not change the printer name from 'Win2PDF'.

Step 3
Install the PDF E-mail Overlay Custom Update by placing the CD received into your CD-Rom drive and following the instructions.

Important: The Win2PDF software must be installed prior to installing the PDF E-mail Overlay.

Step 4
Open Summit Event Manager - Pro

  1. Open the Setup menu
  2. Go to Event Options
  3. On the General Settings tabs change the 'Format for E-Mailed Correspondence' option to PDF
  4. Enter your Activation Code
  5. Test process by e-mailing yourself a test/dummy confirmation letter from Personal Details
